The battery-powered Everglades City electric streetcar parked on the tracks and apparently retired from service. Fire damaged the trolley on June 27, 1928 and the hurricane of 1929 did considerable damage to its tracks, ending its service. Operated by the Everglades Railway Light and Power Company until 1929. The original caption reads "Old Everglades Streetcar At Rest."
