Division, The Deltona Corporation, dated June 3, 1964.  The three Mackle brothers invited Scott to the Naples Beach Club Hotel on June 15 for cocktails and dinner to discuss their plans for Marco Island.

Marco Island officially opened to the general public on Sunday, January 31, 1965.
