Old Naples school building, constructed in 1924 at 4th St. South, between 10th and 11th Ave., for grades one through twelve. Photographed in the summer of 1934 by Roy Brack, a former student. Handwritten caption on the back reads " Taken in summer 1934, Naples School, 5 rms, & office, 1st grade through High School, (car is 1932 Ford belonging to Roy), 4th St. So. between 10 and 11th Ave., Now part of Arnold Haynes home. Loaned by Roy Brack."

Mrs. Earl Baum (left) with another lady (unidentified) looking into an artesian well that flowed just south of the Old Naples Hotel (seen in background). Dated February 1922 on reverse. The stream flowed into the Gordon River between 12th and 13th Avenue South. According to Dr. Earl Baum, who identified this photo, this was the "colored quarters" and the stream was polluted by their privies. Later, Henry Watkins built the hotel's swimming pool and Seminole Room on the site.

Speed Menefee's home on a flatbed truck, being moved to a new location in East Naples. Dated March 1961. The notation reads "Last of Speed Menefee's house". According to Dr. Earl Baum, who took this photograph, Menefee gave this house and property to the Naples hospital, provided they would keep him in the hospital until his death. Later, Mrs. Charles Price bought the property from the hospital.

Real photo postcard of a fisherman walking along the Naples pier, dated 1948. Sent to Senator John S.W. Holloway, grandson of General John S. Williams, Cincinnati, Ohio, from his daughter Belle Selby Holloway, who was vacationing in Naples.
