Group of men, all unidentified, walking into the Naples Hotel.  The hotel is draped with banners and bunting to celebrate the arrival of the first Seaboard Air Line Railway passenger train to Naples, the Orange Blossom Special, on January 7, 1927.  Possibly some of the distinguished dignitaries or passengers aboard the train.

Wooden cottage at 43 Broad Avenue South in Naples dated November 1959.  This guest house was moved from the Golf Club near St. Ann's Church and once served as a schoolhouse for Henry Timkin's three sons whenever they came to Naples.

Dr. Henry Nehrling (1853-1929). In 1915,  a distinguished horticulturist and ornithologist from Wisconsin, Nehrling approached the Naples Company about buying some "good rich and private land" in Naples to start a tropical nursery. He relocated here four years later after a disasterous winter freeze in 1917 wiped out most of his rare plant collection in Gotha, Florida, near Orlando.
