Aerial view of Naples Airport looking northwest over GA (General Aviation) ramp.  At this time, 5 commercial carriers serviced Naples: American Eagle, Cape Air, Com Air, Gulfstream International and USAir Express.  The Mosquito Control District was in the process of moving into a new facility, finally locating staff and aircraft.  Plans were being made to build a new control tower, more shade hangars, and more businesses relocated to the airport.  Naples population had grown to 143,700 by 1989.  Built in 1988, the Southwest Regional Airport in Ft.
