Dr. Earl L. Baum's cabin cruiser, his eighth boat in Naples, a 42-foot Wheeler powered by two, 145 HP Chrysler Royal engines. Baum bought the boat in New York City in 1938 and used it in Naples until World War II, when the U.S. Coast Guard requisitioned it to serve on submarine patrol. Baum refused to accept it back after the war.
